Wine Charm Bar at The Perfect Pairing Galentine’s Event
Some events feel extra special from the moment you walk in, and The Perfect Pairing Galentine’s Event hosted by Lawson Event Collective was exactly that kind of night. The founder created a beautifully curated evening centered around wine, snacks, conversation, and celebrating friendship. My role was to bring in a Wine Charm Bar through Ray of Sunshine Crafting Co., giving guests a hands-on creative activity to enjoy throughout the party.
Instead of a traditional seated workshop, the charm bar allowed guests to craft at their own pace. Friends gathered around the table between conversations, choosing color schemes, beads, and charms to design personalized wine charms for their glasses. Some made matching sets, others designed charms that reflected their personalities, and a few even created extras to gift to friends.
I love this style of crafting because it blends seamlessly into the energy of the event. People sip wine, meet new friends, wander over to create something, then head back into the party wearing or using something they made themselves. It becomes both an activity and a conversation starter. The entire evening felt like a celebration of girlhood, laughter, connection, creativity, and that effortless feeling of being surrounded by supportive women. Watching strangers bond over tiny beads and shared glasses of wine is honestly one of my favorite parts of what I do. Events like this are exactly why I started Ray of Sunshine Crafting Co.: to bring creative experiences into thoughtfully designed gatherings and help transform them into something interactive and memorable. Such a fun night filled with crafting, sipping wine, and celebrating friendship.
