Beaded Embroidery Workshop

Learn the basics of beaded embroidery in this beginner-friendly, hands-on workshop. Each participant will bring their own item from home to embroider, t-shirts, sweatshirts, tote bags, backpacks, or other fabric items you’d like to personalize. You will choose a design ahead of time from a curated selection featuring Philly-inspired symbols, fruits and vegetables, martinis, and other fun motifs. You can request a design as well! No prior experience is necessary. You’ll learn foundational beaded embroidery techniques and leave with the skills to continue stitching on your own.

Choose from more than 100 beautiful patterns to design two large 4-to-5-inch shells, then finish them with hand-painted edges for a polished, elevated look. You’ll learn decoupage step-by-step and leave with two unique pieces perfect for jewelry, trinkets, or gifting.

Not at all. Every workshop is designed to be beginner-friendly. I walk you through everything step-by-step, so whether you’ve never picked up a needle or you craft all the time, you’ll feel comfortable.

All materials are provided unless otherwise noted. For some workshops (like embroidery), you’ll bring your own item to customize (think sweatshirts, tote bags, denim, etc.). Each event listing will tell you exactly what to bring.

Most workshops are about 2–3 hours. Enough time to learn, create something you’re proud of, and learn a new skill for life.

Tickets are non-refundable, but you’re welcome to transfer your spot to a friend if you can’t make it.
