Notre Dame Women’s Connect: St. Patrick’s Day Craft Night at Dooney’s Pub

I had the opportunity to host a private workshop for the Notre Dame Women’s Connect group at Dooney’s Pub, and it was such a fun one to bring to life. For this event, I designed a custom craft specifically for their group, wooden signs inspired by Notre Dame and St. Patrick’s Day. Each guest created their own version using a mix of twine, buttons, and personalized phrases.

The goal for this workshop was to keep the craft approachable and relaxed, so everyone could focus on hanging out, catching up, and enjoying the night, not stressing over getting everything perfect. It ended up being the kind of event where people could craft at their own pace while also eating, drinking, and spending time together. That balance is always what I’m aiming for with private events, creating something that feels fun, social, and low-pressure, while still leaving with something you’re proud of.

It was so great to see everyone’s different takes on the same project, and how each sign ended up feeling personal to them.
