Colorful Terrariums
We had such a wonderful time at our August 55+ Craft Class, August 4th at the WOW Center, with 20 amazing participants, it was one of our biggest classes yet! It’s so exciting to see this community grow. I love meeting new faces, reconnecting with familiar ones, and making crafting feel joyful and approachable for everyone who walks through the door.
This month, we made colorful sand terrariums and wow, did they turn out beautiful!
Everyone brought their creativity, layering bright, vibrant sand into one-of-a-kind designs. Sure, a little sand was spilled (okay... maybe even a whole planter 😅), but we laughed it off and kept going. A few participants even made extra terrariums as gifts for loved ones, because truly, there’s no greater gift than something handmade.
We topped off each planter with faux succulents (no watering required 🥳) and colorful flat glass marbles to tie the whole design together. Each creation was so unique and gorgeous. I just know they’ll spark compliments and conversations wherever they’re displayed. There’s nothing better than making something with your hands, feeling proud of it, and sharing that joy with the world.
A huge thank you to my mom, MaryCay, and my sister, Zoey, for helping with the class, snapping photos, and spreading sunshine every step of the way.
