Cake Decorating

This month’s workshop was extra sweet because we partnered with the incredibly talented Awilda from The Bake House, who generously baked and donated two delicious HUGE cakes for our group.

Awilda guided everyone step by step through the cake decorating process, and it was amazing to see participants dive in, step out of their comfort zones, and experiment with a new creative skill. Some made cakes to surprise their grandchildren, some for sick friends or thoughtful neighbors, and some simply for themselves to enjoy (and they could hardly wait to dig in with their forks!).

The room was filled with laughter, creativity, and connection, exactly what these classes are all about. It’s always inspiring to see how creativity can bring people together, whether it’s through crafts, cakes, or simply sharing something handmade with love.
