Fall Pumpkin Signs

Our November 55+ Craft Class at WOW was full of cozy fall vibes and creativity! We had an amazing group of women ages 55–85, plus a special young visitor. We made fall signs and everyone is invited to create however they see fit. If you are feeling inspired, you can use whatever materials we have on hand and I love to see people thinking outside the box! That’s what this class is all about: creating however you see fit and letting the project take you where it wants.

This month’s project was custom fall pumpkin signs, and everyone brought their own style to the table using canvas, buttons, twine, and scrabble tiles. Some signs were classic and elegant, others playful and colorful, and each one completely unique. I love seeing how people interpret the same materials in totally different ways.

It’s also wonderful to watch the friendships that have grown over the past two years. These women genuinely care about each other, support each other’s creativity, and have so much fun coming together every month. Moments like these, sharing laughs, ideas, and a little bit of chaos, are why these classes are so special.

This group reminds me that crafting isn’t about perfection; it’s about connection, experimentation, and enjoying the process. By the end of class, everyone leaves with something they’re proud of and often with a smile from just being part of this community.
